Extensions Market analysis · Grow
Ask the question in the evening. The next evening, the answer is there, with sources.
Who are your competitors in the region, what do they charge, what do they carry, what do their customers say? We set research agents to work reading public sources and delivering the location for every statement. A second pass checks every number against the evidence. Within 24 hours you have the report an intern would take three weeks to write.
- Report in 24 hours
- Source for every number
- Second pass checks
- Fixed price per question
Who the market analysis is for
For decisions you do not want to make on gut feeling, and for which nobody has three weeks.
Before the pricing decision
What do the twenty nearest providers charge for the same product or service, today and not according to a brochure from 2023? With tiers, promotions and shipping costs, as a table with source and date.
Before the range decision
Which brands and categories do competitors carry, which are missing everywhere, what do reviews say is lacking? Gaps you see before you order stock.
Before entering a location or market
Who is already there in Aarau, in Romandy, in Ticino? How visible, how rated, how expensive? A picture of the market before you sign the lease or switch the shop to French.
What you get
A report you can read, and whose numbers you can look up.
Competitor map
Who offers the same in your area, with address, website, size, languages, visibility in search and on the networks.
Price table with date
List price, promotional price, tiers, shipping costs, minimum order value. Per provider, per product or service, with the day of collection and the link to the page.
Range comparison
Categories, brands, number of items, own brands, as a matrix: who carries what, where the gaps are, where everyone is crowding.
Customer voices, counted
Public reviews sorted by topic: delivery time, advice, price, returns, quality. What is praised, what is missing, with quotes and source. No mood pictures.
Visibility and presence
Which search terms competitors are found for, how fast their pages load, how often they post, which formats they use. The yardstick your own presence is measured against.
Source list
Every number in the report points to a row in the appendix: address, date, what was there. You can look up every statement yourself, and so can your bank or your advisory board.
Audit report of the second pass
A second pass, separate from the first, holds the report against the evidence: does the number match the source, is the source current, is the conclusion supported? What gets cut, you see, with reasons.
Recommendation by people
The agents collect and check. The last page, what we advise you and why, we write ourselves. With our name under it.
How the 24 hours run
Sharpen the question
You describe market, region, product and the decision ahead. We turn that into the brief and agree it with you before anything starts.
Agents collect
Research agents read public sources in several passes: websites, directories, review portals, networks. With pauses, with respect for blocks, without signing in behind passwords. Every statement carries its location.
Second pass checks
A separate pass holds every statement in the report against the evidence. What is not supported gets thrown out or marked as an assumption.
We deliver
Report as PDF and spreadsheet, source appendix, review report, our recommendation. On request half an hour of discussion.
Under the hood
Market Analysis runs on the agent platform we also use to audit websites. It is not a script. It is an operation with rules written in the code.
Collecting and checking are separate
The pass that collects and writes is not the pass that checks. The checker sees only report and evidence, not the intermediate steps. A report that grades itself is not a report.
Every location logged
Which page was read when, what it said, which number came out of it: that is in a log that accompanies the report. Nothing in the report is without origin.
Public means public
The agents read what any person could see in a browser. A website's access rules (robots.txt) are anchored in the core of the platform, not in a setting someone can forget. What a website does not want fetched stays out.
Costs capped before it starts
Every pass has a budget of fetches and computing power that the platform monitors. When it is used up, it stops and reports back. Your fixed price stays your fixed price.
The same platform audits websites
The platform comes from our website audit: there, deterministic checks run first, and a model is used only where judgement is needed. The same attitude applies to Market Analysis.
What the analysis is not
No ongoing price monitoring, no contacting competitors, no data from locked areas. A dated snapshot, clean, evidenced, in 24 hours. If you want it quarterly, you get it quarterly.
Build-out
What we are still building
Today we deliver Market Analysis as a service: people guide the agents through several passes and write the recommendation. Three things turn that into a product over time.
The long run
One pass reads a limited number of pages today. For very broad markets we build the run that works through source after source over hours, with the same rules.
Prices as a table, automatically
Prices, tiers and shipping costs straight from the pages into the table, with date. Today the second pass does that with people.
Report in your language, at the push of a button
The report as PDF in German, French or Italian, with source appendix, straight from the platform.
What you see
Three pages from one report: price table, customer voices, audit report.
Fixed price per question
A market analysis is a clearly defined question with a clearly defined region, and so it has a fixed price you know before the start. It depends on breadth (how many providers, products, regions) and depth (prices, range, voices, visibility). The number is in the concept.
Delivery
24 hours from confirmed question
fixed price in the concept · credited against a web or shop order
Request a market analysisQuestions about the market analysis
The agents read publicly accessible pages, the way a browser does: without signing in, without circumventing technical blocks, with pauses between fetches and respecting a website's access rules. No personal data is collected, only offers, prices and public reviews. What we do not do: contact competitors or pose as a customer.
As accurate as the source on the day of collection, and that is noted next to every number. What the second pass cannot verify is not in the report or is marked as an assumption. Where sources contradict each other, we show both. We do not round, smooth or estimate without saying so.
Yes, as a repeat of the same question every quarter or half year, at the same fixed price, with a comparison to the last report: who is new, who is gone, what has moved in price. Hourly ongoing monitoring is something we deliberately do not offer. A dated snapshot is more honest than a dashboard that always looks current.
